
Epic Games accounts can be connected to your Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch account so that all of your game data is stored in a single place. In this video, we’ll show you how to connect and disconnect your console account.
First, to connect your console account to your Epic Games account, go to the Epic Games website and click Sign-In in the top right corner.
Click Sign in with Epic Games to login to your Epic Games account you want to connect your console account to.
Enter your email address, then your password, and click Log In Now.
Hover over your account name in the top right corner and click Account.
Click Connections.
Click Accounts.
Select either Xbox, PlayStation Network, or Nintendo Switch to connect to your Epic Games Account. In this example, we’ll use PlayStation Network. Click Connect.
Once you’ve read the information in the pop-up, click Link Account. As a reminder, once you complete the linking process you will not be able to link another console account from the same platform to your Epic Games account.
Enter your account credentials and click Sign-In.
You’ve successfully connected your console account to your Epic Games account. Any progression that is made in Fortnite will be the same on either your PC or console.
Next, we’ll show you how to disconnect your console account from your Epic Games account. Disconnecting your console account will reset your Fortnite profile, progression, and purchases or earned content. Once you disconnect, you won’t be able to link another console account from the same platform to your Epic Games account.
To disconnect your console account, go to the Epic Games website and click Sign-In in the top right corner.
Click Sign in with Epic Games to login to your Epic Games account you want to disconnect your console account from.
Enter your email address, then your password, and click Log In Now.
Hover over your account name in the top right corner and click Account.
Click Connections.
Click Accounts.
Click Disconnect under the console account you’d like to remove from your Epic Games account. In this example, we’ll use PlayStation Network. Click Disconnect.
Review all the checkboxes in the pop-up. As a reminder, disconnecting your console account will reset your Fortnite profile, progression and any purchases or earned content from your account. To continue with removing your console account, check all the four boxes and click Unlink. You’ve successfully disconnected your console account from your Epic Games account.
